At Camping Groeneveld you will not only sleep in the greenery, but you can also plan a lot of daytime activities in nature. Get out of your tent or motorhome and immediately set off on a relaxing bicycle or walking tour through the beautiful Leie region. The surprising Zwalm region or the famous Flemish Ardennes are also just a stone's throw away. Need to cool down on a hot summer day? You can reach the Belgian coast by car in less than an hour.

Are you a cycling enthusiast? That's lucky! Our campground proudly carries the label of "Bicycle Friendly Residence in Flanders", which not only means that we provide our guests with free bicycles.

Want to explore the green surroundings or visit Ghent without parking stress? Make it a sporting activity and take your bike.

Water fun

Swimming in open water? There are few places in Belgium where this is allowed. Just 3 km from Camping Groeneveld is Vosselare Put, a branch of the Old Leie. Here you can sunbathe and splash around. The ideal water activity for young and old!

Don't worry if you prefer to dive into the water indoors, because there are also indoor swimming pools nearby. In addition, close to the campsite you can also take one of our kayaks on the Lys. Let the paddling begin!

This campground is excellent, with good facilities and fine showers. There is a good bar at the campground where you can also eat if you book before 5pm.We were cycling and therefore camped by the lake, it was very quiet. We have been here twice before and will definitely come back.
